The Bears have traded safety Kevin Payne to the Rams for an undisclosed pick in the 2011 NFL Draft. Payne was a fifth-round pick of Chicago back in 2007. The move came one day after the Bears made a trade with Carolina for safety Chris Harris.

The Steelers have reacquired cornerback Bryant McFadden from the Cardinals. Pittsburgh got McFadden and a sixth-round pick on Saturday for one of their fifth-round selections.

The Washington Redskins Saturday acquired a fourth-round selection in the 2012 NFL Draft from the Oakland Raiders in exchange for quarterback Jason Campbell. Campbell played and started 52 games, completing 1,002-of-1,637 passes for 10,860 yards, 55 touchdowns and 38 interceptions in five seasons with the Redskins.

The Jaguars have acquired linebacker Kirk Morrison from the Raiders from a fourth-round pick. Jacksonville also got a fifth-rounder from Oakland in the deal. Morrison, who led Oakland in tackles the past four seasons, became expendable when the Raiders drafted Alabama star Rolando McClain in the first round Thursday.

The Seahawks have acquired running back LenDale White in a trade with the Titans. Seattle head coach Pete Carroll coached White at USC, getting the running back from Tennessee for a fourth- and sixth-round pick. The Seahawks also got defensive tackle Kevin Vickerson in the swap.

The Broncos have traded the 13th overall pick to the Eagles. Denver had already moved back from 11th to 13th in a deal with San Francisco. Philadelphia sends the 24th pick and two third rounds to Denver for the selection. The Eagles used the pick to take Michigan pass rusher Brandon Graham.

The Chargers have landed the 12th pick from the Dolphins in a trade. San Diego used the pick to take Fresno State running back Ryan Mathews. Details on the trade are forthcoming.

The 49ers have traded the 13th pick, along with a fourth round selection, to the Broncos in exchange for the 11th pick. San Francisco has used the pick to take Rutgers offensive tackle Anthony Davis.

The Steelers reacquired quarterback Byron Leftwich by dealing a seventh-round draft pick to Tampa Bay, a sign they expect Ben Roethlisberger to be suspended for the start of the season. Leftwich backed up Roethlisberger in 2008, when the Steelers won the Super Bowl. He knows offensive coordinator Bruce Arians' system and could be ready to play Sept. 12 when the Steelers open against Atlanta.

The Redskins announced today that they have acquired defensive end Adam Carriker, a fifth-round pick (No. 163 overall), and a seventh-round pick (No. 208 overall) from the Rams in exchange for the Redskins? fifth-round pick (No. 135) and seventh-round pick (No. 211 overall).
